Flow Test Engineer
Switch is searching for a Flow Test Engineer to work with our client in the Brainport Area. We're looking for a skilled Engineer who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about making a real difference through technology. In this role, you will use your knowledge in computational fluid dynamics to contribute to the development and optimization of our clients cutting-edge technologies.
As our new Flow Test Engineer:
You will primarily work with Ansys Fluent to test, simulate and analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and particle contamination.
Your responsibilities will be mainly testing, designing, creating, and upgrading adapting current test setups, as well as interpreting experimental data to validate your simulations. You will be working closely together with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, this will be a key part of your daily activities.
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Testing / simulations, Ansys Fluent.
- Knowledge of CFD modelling and simulations.
- Good understanding of fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles.
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies and test setup design.
- Experience with CFD in vacuum conditions. (pre)
- Understanding of tribology and its applications. (pre)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
